French living in Finland and in Sweden, the author, Alain Lefebvre, is a specialist of the Nordic countries. He has written (among others) 2 books on the Nordic models (in French, sorry): one about the Swedish social and labour law, and the other about the Danish model. He has graduated as an ICT engineer in 1973, and from the French School of Administration (ENA) in 1982. He works for a European Union Agency.
